Abstract

|
Three-dimensional ultrasonography (3D US) is a new imaging modality, which is being introduced into clinical practice. Although two - dimensional ultrasonography is popular ,3D US is being increasing used. 3D US provide additional information for the diagnosis of facial anomalies, evaluation of neural tube defects, and skeletal malformations. the purpose of this paper is to review and analyze the published literature on the use of 3D US in perinatal medicine.
